petrichoriousparalian asked: One of the links in the youtube channels page you just shared included mention of fasting. I don't mean this in a rude way, just curious: do you guys read through everything you post, or do you skim it to make sure it seemingly fits the guidelines and then post?

I can only speak for myself, but since I was the admin who looked over the submission in question I’ll explain. For articles, workout videos, recipes, etc. I typically do thoroughly read through/watch an entire post before posting. Since that contributor has been so reliably on-point I’ll admit I was less thorough than unusual, thinking she would have looked over the links pretty well before submitting. I recall reading through many of the link descriptions, but I probably skimmed over some of them.

As you can probably imagine, finding content for this blog amidst a mire of body-shaming and unhealthy advice/ideas can be very difficult. I care very much about sharing content that’s helpful for everyone, and sometimes I feel incredibly nervous that I’ll inadvertently hurt people listening to what we say here. I’m sorry that link slipped by me, and thank you for bringing it to my attention.

I checked out the website from which that youtube channel gets its info, and it’s pretty much your basic “Tired of dieting? TRY THIS DIET!” webpage with ~testimonials~ and OVERSIZED HEADINGS. Its vague about the details of the method its trying to sell, but it’s pretty obvious one’s time/money could be much better spent.

Hopefully our followers have found some of the other 29 links on that post to be helpful.
