Tired of crunches?
Try this…
- Lie on your back (if you have a hard floor, put a mat or small pillow under your butt/lower back to protect it)
- lay flat and put your legs out straight and together, point those toes.
- Now, arms by your side, resting on the floor, raise your legs up, straight and together.
- Now, start to write. You are writing the alphabet - A to Z - nice and big, in the air, imagining your pointed toes are paintbrushes on a big canvas.
- Try and get through the whole alphabet. Only use your hands to stabilize yourself, not to pull yourself around. Use your core muscles to move your legs about. Don’t give up!
Too easy? Try with leg weights, or completely the alphabet forwards, then backwards. ‘Tis a good burn. :)
